Pensacola museum to feature model trains

The Pensacola Museum of Art is celebrating Christmas with an exhibit of model trains.

The Pensacola Model Railroad Club brought trains, tracks, and miniature buildings to the museum. They were setting up this morning.

Club members say, running the trains is nostalgic for people who grew up with them and they enjoy sharing their hobby

Some people who never dreamed of having a professional photo taken will get one this weekend.

Jack Rowles/President, Pensacola Model Railroad Club: "It's also good for us to be introducing it to the young people, so they can see what's going on, and perhaps get interested in trains themselves."

Tomorrow is the exhibit's grand opening, and from noon to 5 p.m., admission is free. The museum is on Jefferson Street in Downtown Pensacola.
