Nuclear deal progressing with Iran

Russia's Foreign Minister says Western powers should not pass up an opportunity to clinch a nuclear deal with Iran next week.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel predicts the US will get a "good" deal that Israel can live with.
Hagel insisted the US won't go for what he called a bad agreement.
But there was plenty of skepticism at a gathering of defense experts and lawmakers in California.

"There are obviously a whole set of concerns that have to be addressed.  What's going to happen with the enriched fuel that they've already developed.  What's going to happen to the 10,000 centrifuges that are still there."

The US and its allies are looking at a two-step process.
A preliminary deal with Iran to freeze its nuclear program in exchange for some sanctions relief.
A comprehensive agreement would follow, but months, if not years down the road.
