Job training funds misused

Certainly not what you want to hear about in a still fragile economy.

Millions of Federal Tax dollars, earmarked for job training  programs, have been misspent on salaries and personal costs.

And millions more sat untouched, according to the Labor Department's inspector General.

That while thousands of Native Americans, on the Navajo Nation, remain jobless.

"Investigators said it only served about half of the people in the jobs program. So, they are saying that they don't need these millions of dollars despite the fact that there are still thousands of people waiting to get job training."

The Navajo Nation covers the corners of three states; Utah, Arizona and New Mexico.
