No oyster harvesting in Apalachicola Bay on weekends

Apalachicola Bay is now *off limits* to oyster harvesting on the weekends.
When times were good, Apalachicola Bay supplied 90 percent of Florida's oysters.

But because of a "fresh water war" with Georgia they are becoming harder to find.
Many seafood markets have stopped requesting them all together.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says the idea behind the "ban" is to give the bay a break and hopefully increase the number of oysters.

The ban will last until  March 31st of 2014.
