New details in FSU quarterback rape case

New details this morning in the rape case against a Florida State University football player. A student is claiming FSU quarterback Jameis Winston raped her last year.

The Tampa Bay Times reports a police detective warned the accuser's attorney Tallahassee was "a big football town" and the woman's "life will be made miserable" if she pursued a case.
Police have not commented on the report and remain tight-lipped on the investigation.

"Unfortunately the investigation is not going to allow us to address any of those concerns at this time."

"We do not discuss any other active ongoing investigation."

"We're waiting on Mr. Meggs to make a decision based on the evidence and his investigation and we hope that will be done soon."

ESPN reports DNA found on the woman's underwear matches Winston's. But it does not prove he sexually assaulted the woman. Winston - a Heisman Trophy candidate - has not been arrested or charged with a crime. His attorney has denied any wrongdoing.
