Dentists buy back kids' Halloween candy

Halloween is now over but some of you may be looking at the amount of candy left, and wondering what you will do with it all.

Some local orthodontists are giving kids money for their Halloween candy. Shehee and Callahan Orthodontics in Pensacola is hosting a "candy buy back" event today.

It's from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at their office on Airport Boulevard. Kids will get one dollar for every pound of hallo ween candy they bring in. All candy collected will be donated to the USO Northwest Florida to be enjoyed by local troops.

And there's a buy back in Okaloosa County too. Doctor Scott Runnels is also giving kids a dollar for every pound of candy. It's from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at his office on Commons Drive in Destin.
