Pensacola doctors helping typhoon victimes in Philippines

A group of Pensacola doctors are working together to  help typhoon victims in the Philippines .

Doctor Miguel Mancao is an Anesthesiologist at Sacred Heart Hospital
He's doing what he can to help his people back home in the Philippines.
Mancao teamed up with local doctors and the Filipino-American Association of Pensacola to raise funds for storm victims.
Between a fundraiser over the weekend, and donations by doctors and nurses, they're raised close to 10,000 dollars.
Divina Herrera is the president of the Filipino-American Association of Pensacola.
She says she's overwhelmed by the support from the community.

Doctor Mancao is recruiting doctors and nurses to go on a medical mission trip to the Philippines this coming January.
He says, there are no functioning hospitals in the hardest hit area of Tacloban.
