Federal Aid for food stamps have been cut by 5%

More than 47-million Americans who rely on Federal Aid to put food on the table, will have to make do with less.

"Snap" benefits have been reduced 5 percent.
According to the Agriculture Department, that means a family of four will get 36 dollars less a month.
The cuts comes after a boost in funding from the Federal Stimulus package expired.
