Thousands turn out to honor veterans

DOWNTOWN PENSACOLA   --  Today all acorss the nation, people are taking time to honor the men and women who have served in the armed service.   

Here in Pensacola hundreds of people turned out for the Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Pensacola.
   
The parade started  on Main Street and ended at the Veterans Memorial Park.    
   
Most of those that cheered the parade then sat in stark silence to listen to a presentation honoring those who served.
   

TALLAHASSEE   --  Thousands lined the street in Florida's capital city for the annual Veteran's Day parade this morning.
   
Military groups, Florida State University and Florida A&M University's ROTC and bands participated in the annual parade.
   
People set up more than an hour before the parade started.
Last year more than 30,000 attended the Veteran's Day parade and festival.
