O'Yes Lotto Store murder trial expected to go to jury today

ESCAMBIA COUNTY  --  A man on trial for killing a Davisville store owner last year could soon learn his fate.

Malcolm McGhee Junior is charged with first degree murder in the death of 74 year old Tommy Kroll.

Yesterday jurors heard from the witnesses for the prosecution.
They are hearing from one witness for the defense today.
No word if McGhee will take the stand.

The case is expected to go to the jury this afternoon.
Prosecutors say Kroll was shot and killed when McGhee, Brent Lambeth and Michael Orso robbed the O-Yes Lotto Store last November.

Lambeth pleaded guilty to his charges and faces up to 30 years in prison.
Orso was just indicted last week.
