Standing vs. sitting

Everyone knows exercise is good for you -- but doctors say simply standing more instead of sitting will help you stay in shape.

A lot of people have jobs where you sit at a desk  for eight hours a day, and that's not good.
Doctors found that standing can decrease your chances of developing some cancers, diabetes, even obesity.
   
Here are some tips on how to stand more during your work day...
-- have standing meetings.
-- use a timer on your computer to let you know when to get up and move
-- and even stand up when the phones rings, to answer it.
