A health warning for college students. There's a new trend that could put you  in the hospital. It's being called "drunk-o-rexia".

It's when a person drinks alcohol on an empty stomach causing them to get drunk faster. A new study says about 40 percent of college students are doing it.

Medical experts say drinking without eating anything can have serious consequences.

"Irritation and inflammation leads to bleeding inside the stomach so that's something that definitely can happen."

Serious cases can cause patients to stop breathing.
