Mother of suicide victim seeks justice

CENTRAL FLORIDA   --  The mother of a 12-year-old Florida girl who committed suicide after being bullied is seeking justice.

Rebecca Sedwick jumped to her death in Tampa, after schoolmates bullied her for months.

Two students were arrested last week and charged with aggravated stalking.

Attorneys say they are bringing civil lawsuits against the people they feel played a role in her death.

"It lets the wrongdoers know that society will not accept that sort of conduct. It does set the parameters."

Attorneys are considering suing at least a dozen kids, their parents, the Polk County School Board, and the owner of the cement plant where Rebecca's body was found.
