Doctors warn Americans about flu season

Doctors are warning Americans this week to prepare for the flu season.  It's a yearly threat, sending thousands of Americans to the hospital every year and killing between three and 50,000. But this year, there's some good news.  The CDC said Americans did better than ever during last winter's flu season -- with 57 percent of children vaccinated. And there are new shots available that protect against four different flu strains. Scientists are even working on a universal flu shot that would protect against all strains that may be available in a few years.
