Carnival Cruise Lines profits down due to recent mishaps
The world's largest cruise company continues to take a big hit after a series of mishaps.
Carnival was able to turn a 934 million dollar profit for June through August.
But that is down 30-percent from last summer.
In February the Carnival Triumph was adrift for days in the Gulf of Mexico after an engine fire.
Passengers were stuck without power or plumbing.
The ship was towed to the port of Mobile for repairs.
Then a month later an engine problem idled its Carnival Dream ship in Saint Maarten.
