Improvimg the water quality of several Florida springs

FLORIDA  --  Florida is going to spend nearly $37 million dollars to help improve the water quality of several springs across the state.

The projects range from the panhandle to central Florida and target springs such as Silver Springs in Ocala and Jackson Blue Spring in Marianna.

The goal is to upgrade and relocate wastewater facilities in hopes of reducing nitrogen pollution in the springs.
