BERTHA QUICKLY HEADING WEST-NORTHWEST

Tropical Storm Bertha formed over the Atlantic Thursday night and is heading west-northwest.  It has winds of 45 miles per hour and is not forecast to become a hurricane. The storm is not forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico.

Go Wild this weekend at the Wildlife Sanctuary

ESCAMBIA COUNTY -- Go wild this weekend at the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida.

"Wildfest" is one of the sanctuary's annual fundraisers and supply drives.
It's going on Saturday at the Sanctuary on North "S" Street in Pensacola.

You can tour the facility, get up close to all the animals, play games and hear live music from noon until 3:30.

The sanctuary is home to dozens of injured or orphaned wildlife.
If you can't go to the event, but still want to donate they are always in need of items like:

Tissues & paper towels.
Laundry soap.
Fresh fruit & veggies.
Pecans or peanuts.
And peanut butter.
