BERTHA QUICKLY HEADING WEST-NORTHWEST

Tropical Storm Bertha formed over the Atlantic Thursday night and is heading west-northwest.  It has winds of 45 miles per hour and is not forecast to become a hurricane. The storm is not forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico.

Florida Human Trafficking

Keeping kids safe from online predators and human traffickers.

That's the goal behind a new campaign being launched by Attorney General Pam Bondi here in Florida.

According to the state Department of Children and Families Florida is one of the most popular destinations for human traffickers in the United States.
   
Billboards will soon start popping up along streets, in malls and on bus shelters to raise awareness.

Parents and adults will also be able to download a tip sheet about internet safety and a pledge for children to sign and print.
