New stronger flu vaccine

Big changes in the flu shot.
This season the dose you get may be more powerful than ever before.

Usually the vacine covers three strains of flu.
But this year for the first time, it will cover four.
But they are only making about 30 million of them.
The rest of the 140 million just cover 3 types of flu.
And for seniors: a stronger vaccine, a superdose four times more powerful aimed at those over 65.

And today, scientists say a new study may have found one part all flu viruses may have in common.
They say it's a first step toward a vaccine which would protect us from all flus.

And the vaccine is now available at all Florida department of health locations in Santa Rosa County.
The vaccine is 30 dollars and is covered by Medicare Part B for those who are eligible.
The vaccine is available at no fee for children aged 6 months through 18 years.
Quantities of the free vaccine are limited, so it's suggested you call ahead.
