Dream Defenders return to the capitol

TALLAHASSEE   --   A group of protesters upset by the acquittal of George Zimmerman are back at the state captiol.

The Dream Defenders slept in the capitol for 31 days earlier this summer.
Today they returned and repeated their request for a special session and ask legislators to overhaul the state's self defense laws.

This time they met outside the capitol and discussed what the groups next line of action is.

They have not secured any meetings with state lawmakers.
But members say they will be in clear view for the next for all to see.

"We're right across the way from them. So they'll be seeing us and we'll be welcoming them in and letting them know florida's watching."

Meanwhile, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is recommending changes to capitol security in the wake of the Dream Defenders protest.

One of the proposed changes include prohibiting anyone sleeping in public portions of the capitol.
