Pensacola man claiming to be deputy robs Crestview home

CRESTVIEW   --   A Pensacola man has been convicted of claiming he was a deputy, to rob a family.

Lemmie Straughter IV took part in a home-invasion robbery in Crestview in April of 2012.
Deputies say, Straughter, Blake Richardson and Brett Henry kicked open the door to a house on East North Avenue.
They were wearing masks and yelled they were with the sheriff's department.
The trio went through several rooms taking items.
Five people, including four children, were at the home at the time.

Straughter faces up to 50 years in prison.
