Cram the Van Drive helps over 7500 students in our area

ESCAMBIA COUNTY    --  Public school teachers are setting up their classrooms this week and students go back to school next Monday.

It is pick up day for WEAR-Sandy Sansing "Cram the Van."  We're here at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds where volunteers have been working for days gathering, sorting and beginning this morning giving out supplies for more than fifty schools in Escambia County.

Pensacola High School Technology Teacher Maralee Sartain has been volunteering with the Cram the Van effort for several years and she sees first hand the difference the supplies make and how grateful her students are to get them.

More than 7500 Escambia County students are served through "Cram the Van."

If you need help with supplies this year, volunteers here say contact your school on Wednesday of this week for more information.

Most school secretaries will know how to direct you.
For high school students, Sartain says make an appointment with your guidance counselor and they will help set you up with what you need.
