A look back at the success of the Wahoo's season

The last home game for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos is tonight at 6 p.m. So how did the second season go?

Channel 3's Kalie Desimone joins us live from the Pensacola Bayfront Stadium with more.

A survey is given out to fans after every game. This season the ballpark recieved a 9.3 out of 10 for fan satisfation. Ticket sales were also at a record high for the second season. More that 300,000 tickets were sold this season.  There are only 2 other teams in the southern league who were able to sell that many tickets.

Looking forward to next year, workers say they specifically ask fans what changes they'd like to see for on field entertainment, the score board and food options.

Bruce Baldwyn- President, Blue Wahoos

"We're still in a penant race, only 3 games out and it's getting a little short. They had a remarkable turn around in the second half of the season and it shows they are true professionals. All the way to the end they are fighting."

There are a few tickets available for tonight's game. Make sure you check out the ticket share page of the Blue Wahoo's website.
