UPDATE: Forest Creek flooding

An update to story we broke this weekend.
People are returning to their homes at Forest Creek Apartments in Warrington after flooding forced voluntary evacuations yesterday.

Water filled the parking lots of the north part of the complex and residents of five buildings were asked to leave.

Many evacuated, but others stayed.
Kolada Brown and her two children left for several hours but returned last night.

Kolada Brown, Resident: "I just dIdn't know what what we as gonna do if the water kept risin'. And all they're clothes would've got messed up. So I just thank God that it did stop. It did stop rainin'."

The water did not reach into any homes like it did when the complex flooded in June of last year.
County authorities say since then more than a million dollars has been spent on projects to help correct the flow of water in the area.

They're investigating the problem.
A staff member of the privately-owned complex says the drainage issue is not on their property.
