Atlanta celebrates 50th anniversary of Dr. King speech

People in Atlanta are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Junior's "I Have a Dream" speech.  A variety of activities celebrated the life of the civil rights icon, including an open house at the place where Dr. King was born.  One of the younger attendees at today's event talked about what the iconic speech means to him.
"It's really passionate, it's what he believes, and he really thinks it's important... and I think it's important for how we should act in America."
King's daughter says it's important that people bring their children to remember her father's legacy. The official anniversary is on August 28. Commemorative activities are planned in Washington, D.C. leading up to that day.
