Airline to offer passengers iPad mini on flights

Hawaiian Airlines passengers are getting a new onboard distraction -- the iPad Mini. Starting Sunday, the carrier will offer in-flight rentals on 14 routes between Hawaii and the continental US, Asia, and the South Pacific. The iPads are free for business class travelers, and if you're in coach class you can reserve one in advance. The devices will give passengers access to a variety of movies, TV shows and games. Despite this new option of inflight entertainment, the FAA still bans the use of most electronic devices during takeoff and landing.
