Molino woman kills husband, claims self defense

MOLINO   --  A Molino woman in jail for killing husband says she shot in self defense.
And today her daughter told the court her dad had a history of violence.

He hit me and shoved me hit holes in my walls. If police went to the house they could still see them there.
Rebecca Rogers made her first court appearance via video today.
She is charged with 2nd degree murder in the death of Jason Rogers.
She shot him twice in the back and once in the head Saturday night at their Escambia County home.
He was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital where he died.
The couple had four daughters together.
One of them says her father had several guns in the house.

As far as I know he had them and my mother feared he was going to kill her and she was protecting herself.
Rebecca is being held in the Escambia County Jail on a 550,000 dollar bond.
