Pensacola Bay Center to host different events this weekend

PENSACOLA -- The Pensacola Bay Center brings in a lot of events put on by other groups but this weekend they're doing something different.
"Bluegrass, Bourbon, and Brews" is a festival organized by the venue itself.
It's an event that promises to have a little bit of something for everyone; music, bourbon, beer and even some shopping.
Casey Sparks at the Pensacola Bay Center said, "We really wanted to focus on the music. A lot of tasting like a wine-tasting the spirits come first and then the music is secondary. That's not what we are doing here."
And the Bay Center isn't leaving out local businesses.
Owner of Unique Accessories and More Stacey Reece said, I'm pretty excited to be here and to help everybody grow, help the economy grow here because we need all the help we can get."
Stacey Reece owns an online boutique but is selling many of her items at Friday night's event. She has all the accessories, college team flip-flops and bling you can handle.
Reece said, "There are so many opportunities that we are now encroaching on and this is the start of many great things to come."
Reece isn't the only one who is thrilled management at the Pensacola Bay Center has started promoting their own events.
Aaron Partch from once Choice Home Improvements said, "I am excited. Pensacola you know, it's time to bring more stuff into town. It's a big deal, so I am really excited."
