Tropical Depression 2 has formed over the Atlantic Ocean. The system is moving west and is headed to the Caribbean Sea. This system is not forecast to become much stronger and could become non-tropical by Thursday.

Mother of 14 month old drowning victim in court today

ESCAMBIA COUNTY    --  New details about the Escambia County mom in jail after her 14-month old toddler drowned.

Jennifer Eiland made her first court appearance today via video court.
An Escambia County mother in jail after her 14-month-old toddler drowned has been given a 100,000 dollar bond.

She was arrested after her 14-month old daughter was found dead in her neighbor's goldfish pond.

It happened at a home on Betmark Road in Escambia County around 5:30 Wednesday night.
   
Jennifer Eiland, is charged with child neglect and is being held in the Escambia County Jail.
