Three charged with using fake money

ESCAMBIA COUNTY   --  Three people are facing charges for trying to use fake money at an Escambia County store.

Deputies were tipped off by the Barnes Dollar Store on Pace Boulevard after they say Scott Toto tried to counterfeit 10-dollar bill.

When the clerk realized the money was phony, Toto took it back and fled the store in a truck.

Deputies tracked it down and arrested him and two other people in the vehicle, Dexter Campbell and Jessican Tipton.

During their search deputies found drugs, a copier-printer and other items used to make fake cash.
