Governor wants National Guard furloughs to wait until after hurricane season

FLORIDA   --  Governor Rick Scott is asking the president to wait until after hurricane season is over, to furlough the National Guard.

About 1,000 members of the Florida National Guard are impacted by the forced federal spending cuts.
Rick Scott says that creates a problem when a storm hits because less people are on duty.
The governors of Mississippi and Louisiana have also filed requests with the president to delay the National Guard furloughs.
