Peaceful 'Sit -in in Tallahassee due to Zimmerman verdict
TALLAHASSEE -- While Governor Scott spent the morning in Pensacola, dozens of protesters were at his office in Tallahassee, waiting for him to return.
This is the second day of the peaceful "Sit-in".
Protesters want to meet with Scott about the George Zimmerman acquittal.
They have three demands they want addressed racial profiling, the Stand your Ground law and what they call the "War on Youth".
Organizers say if the governor doesn't agree to the demands the crowds will get larger and louder.
"It shows our resilience and shows how passionate we are about the Trayvon Martin case and how passionate we are on our future."
We spoke with Governor Scott about the sit in and the Stand your Ground law.
