Atmore man pleads guilty to murder

An Atmore man admits that he had a part in the murder of a local business owner.

Damien Jones pleaded guilty yesterday. He and De'Anthony Dailey are charged with robbing and killing Kendrick Dortch.

Dortch was found shot to death outside his auto detailing shop last June. Investigators say it was a robbery gone bad. Dortch did not know Jones or De'Anthony.
Jones will testify against dailey who was just 16 at the time of the shooting. Dailey will be tried as an adult.
