Third week of protesting starts at Fla. capitol

The ongoing protest at the Florida state capitol is now in its third week.

The group will kick off its "people session" later today. Protesters are facing many obstacles, as they refuse to budge until a special legislative session is called.

They have been sleeping on the hard ground, and they have limited access to everyday supplies, even food.

"It's a constant struggle. This reminds me of some of the experiences I had in the past."

"They were like you know you can leave and eat if you really want to. We were like we could but we're not leaving until a special session is called."

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says the latest struggles are not a negative reflection of capitol police and that rules were outlined when the protest began.
