New renovations for downtown museum

The T.T. Wentworth Florida State Museum in Downtown Pensacola is going through some big changes.

Right now, curators are taking down the "City of Five Flags" exhibit on the ground floor.
The museum got a Gulf Coast Tourism grant from BP to update and expand their exhibits.
The changes aren't limited to the inside, They're also adding an outside display.

"That will tell about the history, who T.T. Wentworth was, why is this building named after him what was this beautiful 1908 building originally and why is it here? And so a little bit about the history on the outside so that we can really attract some of that walking through traffic because it's picking up downtown a lot," said Robert Overton, COO of West Florida Historic Preservation:
The front entrance is already closed but you can still go in through a side door to see some of the exhibits. The museum is expectedto close completely from sometime in July until around Thanksgiving.
