Tropical Depression 2 has formed over the Atlantic Ocean. The system is moving west and is headed to the Caribbean Sea. This system is not forecast to become much stronger and could become non-tropical by Thursday.

Minorities are no longer the minority in young children


Minorities are no longer the minority.

New census data shows that for the first time ever, minority children under the age of five, now make up about half of that age group.

Using the new numbers, the Census Bureau projects that in five years, minorities will make up more than 50 percent of Americans under the age of 18.

The fastest growing population group are multiracial Americans, followed by Asians and Hispanics.
