Officials begin preparing for Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores
GULF SHORES -- More than 60 bands 5 stages And 35,000 music fans.
The Hangout Music Fest in Gulf Shores is just over a week away.
The headliners are Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Stevie Wonder and the Kings of Leon.
Four years running and a lesson learned is to get the act together early.
So don't be surprised to see tents and stages going up now - almost 10 days before the first concert.
Brad Cohen, Manager Hangout: "We will start putting our kitchens in. We will start putting out VIP facilities in. All the infrastructure that supports the music festival. What you haven't seen are all the things we've been doing behind the scenes the last several weeks getting prepared for the obvious. "

Those behind the scenes things like security, food, water, even restrooms are already in place and even though it's not sold out yet - weekend and one day tickets are still available.
The one-days are going fast.
"So this allows people who only have a day or two so they can pick or choose based on their schedule."
