ABC   --  Finally a decision.
After *months of testimony including 18 days of the defendant herself, the verdict is in in the first degree murder trial of Jodi Arias.
ABC's Brandi Hitt has the story.
After 18 hours of deliberations the jury found Jodi Arias guilty of first degree murder for the brutal death of her ex-boyfriend -- Travis Alexander.

The trial lasted four months with 38 witnesses including Arias -- who spent an unbelievable *18 days* on the stand...

killed Alexander in self defense.

Arizona law even allowed the jury to ask Arias questions through the judge.

mind did what it did."

In 2008 Alexander was stabbed 27 times and shot in the head. After Arias was arrested she first told police she wasn't at the crime scene.

Then -- the 32 year old said she was there but intruders killed Alexander
Finally -- she told police she killed her ex-boyfriend in self defense as a battered woman she had lost it.
