Man accused of killing PNJ reporter will not face death penalty

PENSACOLA   --  The man accused of killing a former Pensacola News Journal reporter will -not face the death penalty.

The State Attorney's office says they've taken that penalty off the table for William Cormier.
Investigators say Cormier killed Sean Dugas  at Dugas' home

His body was in October 2012 found encased in concrete buried in the backyard of Cormier's family home in Georgia.

William Cormier is charged with first degree murder and armed robbery.
His brother Christopher is charged with accessory after the fact and burglary.
