The Sunshine State is ranked in the bottom third of the United States when it comes to residents overall health and well-being.

Organizers hope this health summit will reduce the use of tobacco products,  cut down on obesity rates while working on increasing physical activity and access to appropriate health services.

David Sjoberg, President of the Partnership for a Healthy Community
"This area is the lowest ranking metropolitan area in the State of Florida so we have health issues that should be cause and concern and something we need to be determined to do something about."

Change that will require the support of everyone to make the community stronger.
