Broken pump in Destin leaves Emerald Waters looking unattractive

DESTIN   --  Crews in Destin have been working non-stop to fix a pump that is responsible for keeping the water in the harbor looking like the "Emerald Coast"
And with summer just around the corner time is running out.
This pump is responsible for pumping 50,000 gallons of fresh water a minute into the harbor.
But with the pump not working, the water isn't filtering.
The problem is, during the summer months, the hot temperatures bring algae, making the harbor look not-so-pleasant.

"It would definitely give us better water quality and things like that"
Public Services will be asking the city council for funding to fix this pump at Monday's meeting.
