Secretary of State gives North Korea stern warning
ASIA -- Secretary of State John Kerry is in Asia as tensions continue to escalate on the Korean peninsula.
Kerry arrived in South Korea on the heels of an alarming assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency.
They say the north might have a nuclear weapon small enough to be placed on a ballistic missile.
While Kerry downplayed that report, he sent a stern warning to Jim Jong Un, that it would only increase the regions isolation if they launch a missile.
We are all united in the fact that North Korea will not be accepted as a nuclear power. The rhetoric that we are hearing from North Korea is simply unacceptable by any standard.
The key to getting the dictator to back down could be China.
The country's foreign minister said today that in the interest of preserving peace, It's willing to work with the US and other nations on North Korea's nuclear disarmament.
