Obama's new budget proposal unlikely to pass

WASHINGTON D.C. -- Tomorrow, President Barack Obama will lay out his budget proposal.

But even before his plan is formally introduced, analysts are giving it very little chance of passing.

The President's plan calls for 600 billion dollars in new revenue.
Republicans are likely to oppose that because it limits deductions for those in higher tax brackets.

The president's budget will join proposals from both the house and senate.

While neither budget is expected to pass on its own, there is hope that a compromise can be reached that includes parts from all three.
