Florida Parasailing changes

FLORIDA  --  A bill aimed at increasing the safety of parasailing has been approved.

The legislation would bring greater oversight to the state's nearly 100 commercial parasail operators.

It would make parasailing off-limits if winds are too high and require commercial parasailing businesses to have insurance.

It would also require an observer who isn't the driver be on board the boats to keep an eye on the parasailers.
