Boston bombing suspect could face charges as early as Monday

The surviving suspect in the deadly Boston Marathon bombing is still hospitalized in serious condition.

Doctors say he is sedated and still unable to speak.

Investigators are now looking into the possibility that his neck wound might have been self-inflicted.

Massachusetts authorities just released a helicopter video from state police.

It shows the boat where 19-year-old Dzhokar Tsarnaev finally surrendered to police Friday night.

The thermal images show the suspect curled up inside the boat.

Police used the video to figure out where he was as they were trying to decide how to get him out.

No charges have been filed against Dzhokar as of Monday morning.

But criminal charges were being prepared on Sunday by U.S Attorney Carmen Ortiz, who is the federal prosecutor for Boston.

Charges could be filed as early as Monday.
