Okaloosa Commissioners to make decison on selling Bellinger yacht
OKALOOSA COUNTY -- Okaloosa County Commissioners are deciding whether or not to sell the yacht at the center of a spending scandal at a loss.
Former Tourist Development Council Director Mark Bellinger used 710,000 dollars of Bed Tax money to buy the yacht.
Bellinger later resigned then took his own life.
Today commissioners are considering an offer from a buyer offering 458,000 dollars.
And 10 % of that would go to the broker.
The commission is meeting right now.
