Vision Airlines cleared of grand theft charges
The State Attorney's Office is dropping a charge of grand theft against Vision Airlines.
Vision was accused of failing to pay the Northwest Florida Regional Airport, more than 100-thousand dollars in passenger facilities charges.
The charge was filed in February.
Since then, prosecutors say the airline has paid more than 160-thousand dollars in restitution, legal fees, and interest.
Vision also agreed to cooperate with the State Attorney's Office and the Okaloosa Sheriff's Office in their investigation of the Tourist Development Council and related matters.
