Destin man arrested for shooting roommate
DESTIN -- A Destin man is facing attempted murder charges after deputies say he tried to shoot his roommate.
Okaloosa County deputies say Fred Shepard and Christopher Popelarski were drinking at their apartment on Gulf Shore Drive Monday night.
The two got into an argument.
Deputies say Shepard fired three shots at Popelarski.
Shepard is being held in the Okaloosa County Jail without bond.
