World leader in burn care to visit Sacred Heart

PENSACOLA, Fla. -- A world leader in burn care will visit Pensacola tomorrow.

Dr. David Herndon, who is the Chief of Staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Galvaston, will be at Sacred Heart Hospital tomorrow morning.
He'll speak at the pediatric ground rounds.
Afterwards Herndon will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club meeting in downtown Pensacola.
And later tomorrow afternoon, dr. Herndon will speak at the Hadju Shrine Center at 2pm.
Herndon's medical research has helped reduced the mortality rate of burned children.

"The citizens of Northwest Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi have given their hearts and time for the last 50 to 60 years to treat patient with these major burns for which I thank each and every one."

Dr. Herndon has held his position as Chief of Staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children, Galveston since 1981.
