Mobile Hwy closed for several hours after crash
ESCAMBIA Co., Fla. -- A portion of Mobile Highway was closed for several hours early Sunday morning after an SUV crashed into power line poles.
The road was closed from Massachusetts to Edison.
Deputies say a SUV veered off Mobile Highway a little before 3 a.m. just north of Edison Dr and crashed into two power poles.
The poles and power lines fell onto two other vehicles traveling behind the SUV. No one was injured in those two vehicles.
Deputies are now searching for the driver of the SUV who fled the scene.
